Tell ALEC to Put People Before Polluters

At the American Legislative Exchange Council, big oil companies like ExxonMobil and Koch Industries vote behind closed doors with state lawmakers on “model” bills that the lawmakers then introduce in their state legislatures.

The ALEC agenda blocks the use of renewable and clean energy, supports controversial “fracking,” denies the science of climate change, and seeks to repeal pollution safeguards. Not surprisingly, these bills would directly benefit many of ALEC’s corporate members.

Stand up and ask your state legislators to put people before polluters. Send them a message to stand up to ALEC.
